Join us as we open our doors for the season!
A self-taught artist, Sandra Dooley draws inspiration from artists such as Picasso, Chagall and Matisse, for it was through their reference she learned to paint.
Dooley's paintings are reflective works that center on the light hearted, warm moments of her daily life at home with family, friends and pets in her hometown of Santa Fe, Cuba. Essential in her highly textured mixed media works is the contemplative expressions of her mainly female subjects.
Painting is a realized dream for her. She says if she could not paint, she could not live. She has been exhibiting her works since 2000 in Cuba, Canada, Germany and the United States.
