Galeria Cubana - Exhibit

Galeria Cubana is pleased to introduce 10 new mixed media works by Sandra Dooley in her latest exhibition Paz y amor (Peace and love). Her paintings celebrate life's big moments, as well as the everyday with family and friends.

Dooley's mixed media works are layered with collected materials including lace, buttons, jute and fabrics. Friends and neighbors regularly contribute textiles, which she incorporates in her paintings.

A self-taught artist, Sandra Dooley draws inspiration from artists such as Picasso, Chagall and Matisse.

Dooley paints in her home studio of Santa Fe, Cuba. She has been exhibiting her works since 2000 in Cuba, Canada, Germany and the United States.
