Galería Cubana is pleased to present 8 new paintings by the renowned artist Luis Rodríguez NOA. Expressed in his new work are his experiences of isolation, as well as feelings of anticipation for a brighter future.

The title of the exhibition, New World,symbolizes that longing for better times after the pandemic: a time of light, life, and perhaps a social and spiritual renaissance. 

NOA arranges his symbols, colors, and even his titles in a new way that tell stories expressing our hunger for positive times, and the pursuit of renewed hopes and real human interactions. 

Luis Rodríguez NOA was born June 14,1970 in the village of Baracoa, Guantánamo, Cuba. A serious student as a child, he left home at the age of 14 to attend the National Art School in Havana from which he graduated in 1989. He is a 1994 graduate of the Higher Institute of Industrial Design.

NOA lives and works in Havana and is a member of the Association of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) and of the Cuban Prográfica Committee. NOA has exhibited his work in many personal and group exhibitions, both nationally and internationally. His comic characters and illustrations have been published in Cuban and foreign magazines for more than two decades. His work is in collections worldwide.
