In the words of the artist:
With this exhibition I try to explore the different readings that can be derived from the same image. I intend to highlight the contrast between two worlds: the reflected and the real. At the same time, blurring the border between one and the other, leaving room for reflection and doubt: what is reality and what is not.
Through the city and its reflections, I recreate both parts of this duality: the real and its opposition, a distorted and abstract image, which can be seen through glass or puddles of water in the streets. The mirror effect and the multiplicity of the image are established as important elements in my landscapes; they are recurring mechanisms that slip us into the duality of two universes. They allow me to experiment with the appreciation of different realities and perceptual planes in the viewer, creating this effect of distorted duality that ultimately forms a new landscape.
