Galería Cubana is thrilled to feature two artists, newcomer Kelvin López and our highly sought after painter Andrey Quintana. In varying styles, both artists capture the spiritual power of flowers to shift one’s consciousness or awareness.

Kelvin López’s oil paintings convey the healing potential of flowers. His style is impressionistic; Lotuses are afloat in a naturalistic matrix of blues and greens, blossoms grace delicate branches. The lack of horizon lines and absence of anchoring objects in his compositions evoke a zen mood, lending themselves to blissful meditation, and appreciation of nature.

Andrey Quintana returns with his pop art influenced fields of stylized flowers. His brilliant flower arrays refract as they ascend, sure to lift the spirits. Famously, Quintana uses the backside of a bullet to apply his paint; transcending a weapon of brutality to beauty.
