In this exhibition, I explore how memories and emotions transform our perception of places. Through my paintings, I recreate moments where reality and memory intertwine, resulting in landscapes that evoke feelings of belonging, distance, and rediscovery. Havana, Boston, and Provincetown are not just locations; they are spaces that have profoundly influenced my artistic vision and life. When I return to these places, the light, color, and textures awaken a sense of familiarity and, simultaneously, a desire to search for something more—a constantly evolving truth. I use impressionist brushstrokes to capture moments in which the real and the reflected blend together, creating a dialogue between what we see and how we feel. These experiences prompt me to question my sense of belonging and remind me that life is a journey shaped by our roots. My works invite viewers to immerse themselves in an atmosphere where past and present converge, evoking echoes of experiences that continue to resonate within me. Through my paintings, I aim to connect with familiar spaces using memory, wonder, and profound transformation.
