Biography:

Anyelmaidelin Calzadilla Fernández, Havana, January 12, 1975. Member of the UNEAC and the Graphic Experimental Workshop. Graduated from the University of the Arts in Havana, currently Professor and Head of the Engraving Chair of the San Alejandro National School of Fine Arts.
She has participated in several national and international exhibitions in countries such as Cuba, USA, Mexico, Costa Rica, Venezuela, England, Switzerland. She has received several awards and mentions including the First Edition National Union Latina Award (2003); 3rd. Prize at the VI National Engraving Meeting (2004); Mention of Graphics. Call for visual arts. Vision of the future, CCE (2005) and Mention in the 10th Edition of the La Joven Estampa Award (2009), Casa de las Américas, Havana.
Her works are part of collections such as: Harvard University Cambridge, National Museum of Fine Arts Taiwan. NBC MESHTEC Tokyo Japan. Museum of Arts of Engraving to the Digital Print A Coruña, Spain. University of Pittsburgh, Special Collections. Cabildo of Gran Canaria, Spain.
